What would your 21st Birthday Message be to your children? The adult you raised them to be are your legacy. Your little footprints to share in our world. What an amazing job you have done to raise them well!
Do you remember the first time you held them in your arms? Those precious moments we carry that brought joy! Our hearts bursting with joy and time past so fast, while we enjoyed every moment watching them grow into beautiful adults.
I encourage you to share a 21st birthday message that will inspire your young adult to be true to themselves so they can prosper.
Let’s face it, we live in a world filled with uncertainties and fear. But if you can inspire your children to become responsible caring adults, you would have prepared them to face the unknown with confidence and integrity.
A 21st Birthday Message to My Children
Imagine with me for a second, what message would you give to inspire your young adult to lead their life?
I have two beautiful children whom I empower to embrace their future with an open mind. As a keeper of memories, I record every photo and video of their growing years and achievements. I encourage them to create from their imagination, to think for themselves and to honor their hearts desire.
We have been given this amazing opportunity to shape our future world in the way we bring up our children. Let’s send them off on a good start.
My 3 Ideas for a 21st Birthday Message to my children are:
1. Don’t Make Other People’s Reality Your Own
Most of the time, we follow what other people do, to fit in and conform to other people’s expectation of what is the right thing to do by their standards. We do this to seek their approval. Learn to walk alone. Know there is no right or wrong way of doing things. But whatever you choose to do, you must be responsible for your own actions. It is the only way you will grow.
2. Be True to Yourself
Only you know who you are and if you are not sure, find your own voice. Be a leader not a follower. Do what you love .. make music .. sew .. listen to your heart. It’s okay to say no thank you and walk away if you dislike certain activities or change your mind. As long as it is you who made that choice.
3. Follow Your Dreams
Once you break away from conformity and know who you are, it’s time for you to follow your dreams and live the life you were born to live. There is no easy or quick way to achieve your dreams. It take a lot of discipline, hard work as well as fun and adventure to achieve what your heart desires. Success is a journey only you can take alone. It is not for the world to see.
Trust the Process!
My 21st Birthday Message to my children is always to be the leader in your life and not follow the crowd. You hold the key to creating a better future for the greater good in our world. Be brave to venture in the unknown because the people who follow always remain stuck in the known. Growth begins in the unknown!
