How to Showcase an Unforgettable 21st Birthday Video

November 14, 2018 By Alison Laverty

Is your son or daughter celebrating a 21st birthday this year? Wow .. what a milestone to remember in their life and yours.

21st Birthday Celebration is all about memories to treasure

What message do you want to give them on their 21 birthday celebration as they go on their journey into life? How do you find ways to inspire a journey of adventure where they seek to find their passion?

Your young adult wants to experience an adventure. Celebrating their 21 Birthday is an unforgettable memory of a lifetime. Give them a reason to find their purpose and to encourage a sense of adventure. How would you like to set them off into the world?

Why not consider these ideas by showcasing their achievements through the years, to propel them into realizing the world is their oyster, but more importantly that nothing is impossible to achieve.

21st Birthday Video Presentation Ideas

There are many way you can showcase a 21st Birthday video presentation as a main event in your celebration. Here are some ideas to guide you.

  • Video clips with messages from Family and Friends
  • Childhood Photos and Videos that show growth
  • Sports Achievements
  • Family Fun Video

It can take up to six months or more to gather and choose photos or videos that tell a story. And you don’t just want to display them randomly because these special moments were captured for a reason. When you rush to sort out everything last minute, you end up feeling drained and exhausted. Always prepared in advance so you can enjoy the process.

5 Stories Ideas for  your 21st Birthday Video Presentation

Like me I’m sure you captured moments in your children’s life to remember special occasion. Here are some ideas to help you make their 21st birthday celebration unforgettable, one that inspires them to make a difference.

1. Childhood Memories in Photos and Videos

When we think of our children, we look at how cute they were as a child. But this is not the case when preparing your son or daughter’s childhood memories. Instead, try considering and choosing  photos to include a vision of how much they were loved by you. Remember from birth to 6 years old, they won’t remember much. These memories have an energy that shows you nurturing them into the adult they are now. As a mother of two myself, I know how the years go by so quick. Within a blink of an eye, our children have all grown up and often we want to remember our own memories of them. With school taking so much of their time, quality time is a challenge but consider this, show them the support and love you gave them through the years in photos and videos.

2. Messages from Family and Friends

Make your videos personal by inviting family and friends around the world to capture a message in videos. Those who were not able to be present and to celebrate this joyous occasion. These messages give meaningful connections that will inspire them to face the world and all its challenges knowing they share a sense of belonging to an amazing family unit at home. And because video clips comes from different mobile brands such as smart phones or iPhone, remember to start a reminder early so the editing and combining all these clips together can be created well in advance to avoid hiccups.

3. Be Proud of their Achievements

One of my proudest moments I have of my children is watching them shine in the light of their abilities. My children do Taekwondo and I capture every single moment from first white belt through to black belts. Why? Because it shows them that their hard work has paid off when they achieved their goals. Through these photos and videos they see their true abilities and skills. There are a lot of other activities that provides personal development. Make sure you show these areas of growth that show their hard work and perseverance. Only you will know what achievements means the most to your children. Show them how much they have grown in character.

4. Random Videos of Pure Fun

Have you ever recorded random footage of your kids just having fun? We regularly create family videos to just have fun, to remember to laugh at ourselves once in a while.

The simple things in life always remains in their hearts. These are their passion and it makes them smile. Keep their dreams alive!

When they grow older and slip into the reigns of society’s norm, they forget who they are or where they come from. This is your chance to plant the seeds of awareness before they get lost in a world of competition and find it hard to find their way home.

5. Family Holiday Adventures

Everyone has at least one. Recently, my daughter had a class presentation where she had to talk about a holiday trip she enjoyed the most. She chose our trip to Sydney and remember playing in the sand by the Hawkesbury River in Wisemans Ferry.

We live in a world that demands our attention constantly. To have something that reminds us to stop and relax is something we need to instill in our children so they can remember the simple things in life. So they can enjoy the leisure from their hard work.

And this is it. Once you have all the necessary photos and videos chosen, give us a call and we’ll walk you through with how you can create an unforgettable 21st Birthday video that they’ll keep coming back to watch.
